Hi Toku exchange,

I am writing this from my hotel room at Transformers Con where I did, in fact, spend $40 on the only Kamen Rider fan merch there. Also, I fucked up and forgot when signups ended…

SOME OF THIS IS INCOMPLETE AND I PROMISE I WILL COME BACK AND FINISH IT WHEN I'M NOT AT A CON. I stole a lot of this from last year's letter, and I'll write out the rest later.

DEAR CREATOR, Thanks for reading this letter and making me something. I am not a very picky person and will love anything you make for my most favorite blorbos. I am fine with any medium (writing, art, etc). Some of my prompts below may be more writer-focused, but please know I will still lose my mind about a drawing of my blorbos together.

That said, here are some guidance and general likes and dislikes. I am also wordy, so here are some links to pop around to the different sections of this letter:

I loooooove crossovers. I love riders from different seasons interacting. I love cameos from other riders for no reason other than to spark joy. I’ve seen most of phase 2 heisei, so any crossovers with those characters will be especially delightful for me. Wanna start a crackship with two riders who have never met? Go wild, I am totally down.

Kamen Rider Build:

This section of the letter is “please give me content of my poor little meow meow, my wet bat man, Gentoku.” Please I love him.

Honestly, you could probably write Gentoku/anyone, and I would eat it all up. I love him. There’s just so much Wrong with him (affectionate).
Would love anything exploring Gentoku pre- and post- Pandora's Box. The tragedy of his ambitions leading him astray. Also about how much of his personality he was bottling up to try to advance his political career. The fact that he hid that he loves karaoke and that he loves eccentric (and often fem-coded) fashion.
Also, if you go the porn route: Leaning into the crossdressing would be extremely welcome.
Gentoku/Kazumi is my preferred endgame ship with him. They are idiots to lovers, your honor.
Gentoku ships that I love (and fully believe are canon, Toei doesn’t know him like I do):
- Gentoku/Kazumi: Like I said above, they are my most favorite ship. I love how the two of them bond towards the end of the series and become inseparable. Would love anything that explores the dynamic of Kazumi continuing to forgive Gentoku when he feels like he's unforgivable. Setting it in the New World could also be interesting; how does Kazumi bring up that he's dating a guy that killed one of his buddies? I also enjoy Gentoku having to deal with Kazumi's fanboying over Mii-tan, and maybe feeling inadequate in comparison. These two are so WEIRD, and I love that.
- Gentoku/Blood Stalk | Evolt: Gentoku definitely thought he was fucking Blood Stalk with the intent of using him until he could betray him. Little did he realize he was fucking a Destruction God beyond his comprehension. I love anything that plays with the tension of Gentoku believing he has the upper hand when we know he is fated to fail and be destroyed. It's about hubris and the downfall.
- Gentoku/Koji Hotei (his childhood friend from the Rogue miniseries): Honestly we never find out much about this guy other than that he is clearly Gentoku’s extremely fragile tether to morality and sanity, post-Pandora. If you go with this, I think it would work well to add in some angst, with the love either being unrequited, or Koji unable to deal with how much Gentoku has changed. Could also be used as a background ship to contrast with a different Gentoku ship.

Kamen Rider OOO:
OOO might be my favorite season. It’s a tough choice though, but I love Ankh so much.

Ankh Focused

Ankh/Eiji is obviously my preferred endgame ship. My favorite part of the 10th anniversary movie was how the only thing that happened was the two of them getting married and nothing bad happening.
Also feel free to write something Ankh solo, or just starring Ankh. Anything Ankh focused is A+.
I would love anything that focuses on his more monstrous features/traits. Ankh exhibiting any weird bird behaviors, using his wings/claws etc, either platonic or sexually.
Ankh definitely fucked King OOO, so anything exploring that dysfunctional relationship (maybe in contrast to Eiji, or explaining some of his trust issues in general) would be very welcome.
One of my favorite details from the OOOs novel is how Ankh thinks his Greeed form is ugly. I’d love to see that played with in some way, possibly unpacking why he likes to use Shingo’s face even when he’s not using his body, or Eiji maybe reassuring him that he is (very) into his Greeed form.

Kamen Rider W:

Honestly the main reason I put this on my list is to try and perpetuate my Trans Shotaro Agenda. I think Shotaro’s obsession with manliness is best explained by overcompensation in his attempt to pass. I crave more of this content.

Shotaro/Philip is obviously The Ship, but making the fic actually shippy is optional. I love the whole W gang and their shenanigans.
I also love the sibling dynamic between Shotaro & Akiko. Anything digging into their friendship and the shenanigans they get into is very welcome
I am also a staunch believer in Bisexual Disaster Shotaro. I don’t necessarily ship him with any girls, but I do love it as a detail.
Also, listen... Shotaro had a crush on Soukichi. I fully believe this. Shotaro/Soukichi could be such doomed yaoi. Shotaro/Soukichi could be such "fuck that old man" yaoi. It could be so painful and good, do you see the vision??

Kamen Rider Drive:

This is just here for Chase/Gou, tbh.

I love Chase so much and I just want him to be happy, healthy, and alive, which he is of course.
Something I love about Gou/Chase is how Gou has gone on this epic emotional roller coaster since Chase’s death wherein he realizes he’s in love with him, but Chase has been dead this whole time so if Gou revives him, he has missed this whole emotional arc. I think there’s just something both funny and tragic about how Chase just wanted Gou to be his friend, and now Gou is in love with him, and how do you navigate from point A to point B? How do you do that when you’re Gou and deathly allergic to feelings? I love mess!!!
Also if you’ve seen the Drive/Ghost movie: that part where everyone gets a bit jumpscared and Gou’s reaction is to cling to Chase?? We should talk about that more. We should really dissect that. Did they talk about that after? At all? Did Chase just accept that this is the dynamic now?
I also love the two of them getting to be a fantastic team together, maybe without even realizing it. Especially when set before Gou's bisexual awakening and realizing he loves Chase, a lot of denial while also being undeniably drift compatible.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid:

Listen... sometimes a ship can be a doctor and the naughty little virus he shakes around in his petri dish. Sometimes they are both a virus... They are such doomed, toxic yaoi, pleaseee... You don't have to go full toxicity with them, but I don't really want fluff with them. I want their mind games and the lying and the mutually trying to use each other for their own goals. Maybe they have sex. Maybe all the mind games and strategizing are more sex than sex. Maybe the sex is another mind game. Pleaseeeee!!

Kamen Rider Kiva:

It's absolutely baffling to me, in this show that has seven thousand different love triangles, Jirou and Otoya supposedly aren't one of the couples. Unthinkable. A few thoughts on fixing this:

The two of them fighting over Yuri so much that eventually they end up hooking up and Yuri gets to have a moment of peace for a change.
Jirou commits to setting up Otoya as the "rightful" fangire king, or king of monsters as it were, and the two get to have some king/knight sexual tension.
Please... please, I love monster forms... please, I would love to have Jirou's wolfen form included, please.
They can also be doomed, toxic yaoi, your honor. And enemies to idiots to lovers. I'm sorry I have a brand.

Kamen Rider Geats:

I love Geats and put in too many ships to write about all of them. I love them all. Buffa and Punkjack are my best boys. All of the girls are my best girls. Please give me treats about them... some ideas:

Just generally speaking, I love the whole idea about Ace's god powers working through desires, and so any of his friends/lovers essentially giving him a boost through their belief in him and their desires is catnip for me.
I love Buffa being embarrassed by his own feelings but also being a very passionate partner.
I love Buffa/Keiwa in general, but I specifically love it during Keiwa's evil arc. Buffa knowing this isn't Keiwa, feeling like his friends need the real Keiwa back more than they need him. Buffa being willing to let Keiwa destroy him because maybe that will fix him, and maybe he feels like he deserves it. Keiwa too hurt and blinded by loss that he can't control himself. Mmm, it's so toxic yaoi!!
Punkjack wants to fuck god, and I mean fuck god. So jot that down.
Also, I think it's pretty clear from the movie that Neon/Lobo kind of won the yuri war... I just think they are cute...
Speaking of the movie, hey remember when there were four Ace's... I wonder what we could do... with four Ace's...
